HSL’s residents-only clubhouse opens to large crowds at La Promenade

It was a weekend packed with activities and visitors as Hock Seng Lee Construction’s (HSL) La Promenade opened its first residents-only clubhouse.
In a press statement yesterday, HSL estimated that 1,300 people visited the development’s Precinct Luxe, where the clubhouse is located.
Visitors were spread into 480 small groups for guided tours of the 200-acre development, which is guarded and gated, and usually closed off to outsiders.
The main draw – the clubhouse – was a collaboration between HSL, Level-Up Fitness and Design Network Architects. Desjoyaux Pools custom built the 21-metre saltwater swimming pool and the children’s wading pool.
According to HSL senior property development manager Tay Chiok Kee, public response was better than anticipated.
The public had the chance to view the residents’ only clubhouse at Precinct Luxe during its launch weekend.
“On Saturday, visitors started arriving 30 minutes before we were due to launch. From mid-day onwards, it was a constant stream of visitors. On Sunday, our last tour ended quite literally at sunset. I think it’s safe to say all of us were happy – company staff, customers and residents.
“Many were first-time visitors to La Promenade, responding to our advertising and social media campaign, while others were repeat customers of Precinct Premiere – our first launch in La Promenade in 2015,” he said.
There was also a free Zumba workout session courtesy of Level-Up Fitness.
Level-Up Fitness ran free Zumba classes, while HSL held a children’s colouring contest and social media photo contest. Co-branding partner Oppein, a home furnishing specialist, ran a booth with special promotions on both days.
“Yes, we are continuing promos for a limited time. We will continue to offer RM20,000 worth of home furnishing vouchers and waive two years’ management fees,” Tay said when asked.
Precinct Luxe comprises 112 super-link units – extra-large terrace houses with a walled-up area of 2,224-sq-ft, which is even larger than most semi-detached units currently on the market.
Tay added that La Promenade is a premium product and that, when planning for Precinct Luxe, HSL aimed to create ‘landed condominiums’.
“We took everything condominiums had – gym, pool, security and exclusivity – and put all of that into landed properties. We firmly believe that landed properties are still the preferred choice.”
HSL expects to hand over keys to the first group of Precinct Luxe home buyers in the second quarter of this year. Buyers of Precinct Premiere, which comprises larger duplexes and bungalows, received their keys at the end of last year.
