KUCHING: The luxury gated community, La Promenade, will be open to the public for another weekend, Jan 9-10, from 9.30am till 5pm on both days.
The extended open house invitation is after a well-attended Family Fun promo last weekend at the 200acre development.
An estimated 900 people visited La Promenade last weekend, where there were colouring contests, cookies decoration competitions, batik painting classes, giveaways of balloons, popcorn and Black Bean Coffee and Tea. There were also bike riding and kite flying.
HSL property development general manager Tay Chiok Kee assured the public that Safe Operating Procedure would be practised. These include QR code scanning at entrances, temperature checks, sanitisation and masks wearing.
Extra emphasis would be placed on social distancing this coming weekend.
“As the premier gated community in Sarawak, we endeavour to stay true to our motto of green, safe and secure. As much as we like to have competitions again, we thought, better be safe than sorry this weekend.
“Nonetheless, members of the public are still welcomed to visit La Promenade. We’ll give buggy rides, personal tours of the entire estate, including Precinct Luxe and the upcoming Precinct Grande,” Tay said.
Precinct Luxe comprises 112 units of extra largesuperlink homes. Planned as “landed condominiums”, Luxe has a 24-hour security, clubhouse with salt water pool and gym, and double the norm of landscaping.
Precinct Grande are three-storey duplexes and designer mansions. Unit prices for the gated community range between RM895,000 with HOC and RM3.8mil.
Early 2021 is shaping up to be a busy time for La Promenade and the developer. In late January, the mall is officially opening to the public.
Since late December, some eateries and cafes on the mall’s ground floor have been operating at soft launch capacity.
The opening in late January will include Choice Supermarket, Hock King Authentic Chicken Rice, Taka Patisserie, Black Bean Coffee & Tea, and kiosks like Saranut and Funhut.
Opening by early February will be NOMS, followed by a premium boba tea outlet, Australian inspired Mr Domus and an art gallery.
Recently, HSL also signed up Oppein, a new branch of the worldwide home projects provider, which is Asia’s largest cabinetry manufacturer.
“Our fourth floor corporate social responsibility lots are now in the designing process. Tenants like Hope Place, Helping Hands, Bodhi Counselling will add invaluable warmth to this community mall,” leasing manager Trish Lui said.
