HSL’S VIP LAUNCH COMES OFF BUMPER YEAR OF PROPERTY SALES

KUCHING (Friday): Aiming to continue a recent run of brisk property sales, Hock Seng Lee (HSL) will launch a range of promo packages at the new Vista Industrial Park (VIP) here on Feb 22-23.
Special rates will apply to a limited number of units including move-in ready and those nearing completion units.
“It’s going to be an exciting launch. We’ll have special prices, business talks, investment tips by bankers and photo contests. Our sales events are always well-attended and the best opportunities for us to reach out directly to customers,” HSL’s property development general manager Tay Chiok Kee said.
He added guided tours of the 200-acre site would be provided on electric buggies.
“We are particularly proud of the 3.3acre park that anchors this commercial development,” Tay said. “We have already planted 20 over trees on this green lung.”
Semi-Detached light industrial units are 8m to 8.8m in width, 17.5m to 21m in length. We also have detached units available for sale. Ground floor entrances and ceilings are extra tall to accommodate heavy machinery.
Separate entrances with stairways have been created for upper floors, which are wide, airy and multi-use friendly. Unit sizes are from 3,053sqft with land areas from 13.84 points.
HSL enjoyed a bumper year of property sales in 2019, selling out an early phase of its premium residential estate at La Promenade, where its new 10-storey headquarters is nearing completion.
HSL also sold out terrace houses at Highfields 3, and will launch larger semi-detached units soon. In the pipeline are affordable housing plans at Petrajaya.
VIP is the company’s first foray into creating an integrated business hub. It is one of the largest privately built commercial estates currently in east Malaysia.
HSL is reserving about one-third of the 200-acre site for its own use. The multi-disciplinary builder aims to centralise its ISO certified manufacturing facilities at VIP in the future.
VIP is strategically located with direct access to a major highway, linking Kuching International Airport, Sama Jaya High Tech Park, two sea ports and the city centre.
Tay said pioneer owners were using VIP units as offices, warehouses, retail shops and even as the central kitchen of a popular restaurant franchise.
“We feel the wide range of business here has demonstrated the units’ flexibility and VIP’s strong planning.”
Last month, VIP won HSL two awards at the Sheda Excellence Awards in both masterplan and commercial category.
