HSL Begins 2020 Property Campaign With VIP
Published date:
KUCHING (Tuesday): Hock Seng Lee (HSL) will begin a busy 2020 year of property promos at its 200-acre Vista Industrial Park (VIP) here this month.
The developer is organising talks targeted at small-medium entrepreneurs featuring speakers from peninsula Malaysia and commercial banks.
Commerce author Koong Lin Loong, who sits on multiple government advisory boards, will present the first talk at 10am on Feb 22.
A second talk by Alliance Bank will be presented on the same day at 1.30pm.
“We are honoured Koong will be speaking at our VIP sales event. His books are highly sought after and his talks are always insightful,” HSL property development general manager Tay Chiok Kee said.
Koong is chief editor of Reanda’s Network’s Doing Business in China guidebook and has authored five books on taxation.
He is a board member of SME Corp Malaysia, under the Entrepreneur Development Ministry, and an advisor to the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry on franchise businesses.
“The second talk will be by Alliance Bank. Everyone always has questions about properties and investment. Alliance Bank will present tips and answer frequently asked questions,” Tay said.
Registration for both talks are now open. Reservation is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For families and photo enthusiasts, HSL will hold a photo contest at VIP on both sales launch days.
VIP at 200acres is one of east Malaysia’s largest commercial zones. HSL has released 195 light industrial units for sale with newer phases in the pipeline. Most units are double-storey semi-detached units with large compounds.
A unique feature is the inclusion of a 3.3acre park at the core of VIP.
“Our architects Jurubina Unireka gave us the idea to create a better masterplan for long-term business. Developers don’t usually sacrifice such a big open space for a commercial site. We took on the advise of the planners. It looks great. We have already planted many trees at this park. Aside from creating a green environment, the large central park can also be utilised for big events by the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),” Tay said.
Other design traits include direct access from the major highway, which connects VIP to two sea ports, Kuching International Airport, Samajaya High Tech Park and the city centre.
VIP is suitable for offices, retail, factories and warehouses. The integrated business is located at Muara Tabuan.
Last month, VIP won HSL two awards at the Sheda Excellence Awards in both masterplan and commercial category.
