RM72.5m new road and bridges project for HSL

KUCHING (Wednesday): Sarawak-based infrastructure and marine engineering specialist Hock Seng Lee Berhad (HSL) will be involved in a new road and bridges project in Kuching worth RM72.5 million.

The project, called the Construction and Completion of An Access Road Linking Technology Park Samarahan To Tanjong Bako, Kuching has been awarded to the consortium of HSL and Matrik Bestari Sdn Bhd by the Public Works Department (JKR).

KUCHING (25 May, 2010 - Tuesday): HOCK SENG LEE BERHAD (HSL)’s first quarter results have shown impressive gains in both earnings and revenue compared with the same period last year.

Profit before tax for the quarter ended 31 March 2010 increased to RM18.20 million, up some 30% from the RM13.97 million recorded for 2009’s corresponding quarter.

Revenue for the first three months of the year also bettered last year’s corresponding period increasing 19% from RM77.88 million to RM92.41 million.

KUCHING - Sarawak-based infrastructure specialist Hock Seng Lee Berhad (HSL) today reported record profit and revenue growth for the third quarter ended 30 September 2009.

Group Chairman YB Senator Dato’ Haji Idris Buang announced that revenue for the quarter at RM101.73 million has exceeded RM100 million for the first time, with profit before tax for the quarter at an all-time high of RM20.67 million.

This represents a 28% increase in revenue and a 39% increase in pre-tax profit compared with the same period in 2008. ...more

HSL launches "the Leaf"

KUCHING (Friday) - Innovative local developer Hock Seng Lee Construction Sdn Bhd (HSL) will launch its much-anticipated guarded and gated residential development called ‘the Leaf’ today.
